Project Approach Our office and warehouse facility located in St. Paul, Minnesota provides employees with a comfortable and efficient working environment. Computerized estimating and accounting systems enable prompt response to requests for pricing, service and billing.
Team Approach to Project Management Pricing and design needs of each customer are discussed and coordinated at a weekly meeting. Manpower needs are coordinated daily through a two person team and a weekly project coordination meeting. Project managers are assigned to each project as well as a general foreman. This system allows project managers to focus their efforts on safety, pricing, project correspondence and issues, material coordination and manpower staffing. The general foreman is responsible for safety, installation methods, quality assurance and labor issues
Someone Who Takes Your Call and Solves Your Problem Office personnel and general foremen have direct dial phone numbers with voice mail. A receptionist and a service department dispatcher are on duty during business hours to assure easy customer access to our employees. After hours emergency service is available seven days a week by leaving a voice mail message. The emergency voice mail immediately pages our on duty person, who promptly returns the call. All service people and foremen have Nextel phones to allow customers and office employees direct access to the field.
A Focus on Safety Safety is a major concern at Anderson Electric Company. Our safety committee meets monthly at the office to assure compliance with OSHA and the National Electrical Code. Polices are reviewed and revised to be sure that safe installation procedures are in effect and being followed. The safety committee consists of management, field supervisors and field electricians.
Trained, Professional Staff We have bi-monthly meetings for our service electricians and our foremen to share their ideas and experiences. Management uses this opportunity to discuss company policy changes, safety and to communicate our company business philosophy to bargaining unit employees. Our bargaining unit employees are members of IBEW Local Union #110 in St. Paul and #292 in Minneapolis, where we are working to increase our presence.
